Hutchinson Fast Food And Restaurant Guide

Hutchinson has a good selection of places to eat, as well as a few hometown places for you to try.I will try not to forget anyone, and if there is something that needs to be added, I will gladly add it. Also, this list has no particular order. Just my random thoughts.

Most of the teams (if not all) will be staying near the Hutchinson Mall in one of several hotels, so I will start there for food places. Along 17th Avenue, you have places such as Applebee’s, Chili’s, IHOP, Habachi Grill and Sirloin Stockade. Freddy’s Frozen Custard is a steak burger and shake place. Habachi Grill is a Chinese and Japanese buffet (haven’t eaten here in quite awhile). Senior Tequila is a Mexican restaurant. Most places around this area are sit-down kind of places. City Buffet and Sirloin Stockade have buffets if you’re looking at that kind of place. They are also building an Olive Garden and a Pizza Ranch. The Pizza ranch should be open Tournament week, but Olive Garden is running behind, and may not be open yet.

Down on 11th Ave (just south of the mall) there is a China Star, Fazoli’s (Italian), McDonald’s, Lonestar Steakhouse, Arby’s and Subway. China Star is also a buffet.

East on 17th, or 11th, they meet at the Hutchinson Airport, which is home to the Airport Steakhouse. I really like this place (personal opinion). Get Onion Rings. Just do it…

Most of the fast food is up on 30th or down on 4th. On 30th, you have McDonald’s, Arby’s, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Little Cesar’s, Jimmy John’s (sandwiches), Taco Hut and Spangles (local burger and fries chain). They also have a Carlos O’Kelly’s and Playa Azul (both Mexican food). Further out east, they have a Sonic Drive-in and Subway.

Just north of 17th and Plum (somewhat near the Sports Arena) is Bogey’s, a local burger, fries, and shake place. This is another place I like to eat. There is also a Papa John’s at this corner.

On 4th Ave, there is a Sonic, KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Spangles and Burger King. Just West of main, there is a Pizza Hut Wing Street.

At 7th and Main there is a Wendy’s and a Subway.

On Main Street, near 30th, there is a Long John Silver’s, Village Inn, Braum’s, Burger King, Subway, and Domino’s Pizza.

You forgot all the best places in town. My favorites are Roy’s BBQ-lunch only (west 5th), Oliver’s Beef and Beer (2nd and Walnut) Sushi Miso (2nd and Walnut), Hog Wild BBQ-not as good as Roy’s but open til 8 (24th and Main), The Anchor Inn -Mexican food/buffet(B and Main), Inspired Deli-Pizzaco (just off Main on w. B), Cool Beans Deli and Coffee (3rd and Main/Train Station), The Raz (30th and Lorraine), Skaets Diner (20th and Main) Gillians Italian Grill (3rd and Main)…Most of these are locally owned and serve great food. GO BLUE DRAGONS! #hutchlife
