There are several things to do in Hutchinson while your team isn’t playing basketball.

The first item on anybody’s list should be the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, which is just west of the Sports Arena. They have the actual Apollo 13 and Liberty Bell 7 Space Capsules among a growing collection of truly wondrous space artifacts.

Another place is the Kansas Underground Salt Museum, located 650 feet underground in the salt mines. Because of it’s constant temperature and humidity, it is the perfect storage place for things such as Batman, Mr. Freeze, Superman, and others.
